Description
This Literature of Self-Discovery course examines how literary and philosophical texts define, construct, and represent the self and identity across various historical and cultural contexts. Students will analyze literary works in short stories, poetry, and drama, and respond by demonstrating a connection(s) to the texts or writing their own creative or interpretive work to improve their reading, writing, and analytical skills. This course explores questions about identity, memory, and the relationship between individual experience and society.
